New Center for Pastoral Excellence
posted 8/29/2012 11:46:12 AMLast week Christian Theological Seminary (Indianapolis, IN) announced they had received initial funding for a new Center for Pastoral Excellence through an $8 million grant from the Lilly Endowment. The school, an ecumenical seminary affiliated with the Disciples of Christ, says the new program will “identify, train and sustain outstanding ministers and pastors for Christian congregations throughout the United States.” One of the Center’s new programs will also “help religious leaders think theologically about technology and new media.”
