posted 6/28/2012 11:19:11 AMOzark Christian College celebrated its 70th anniversary this past Tuesday. The school was organized as Ozark Bible College in 1942 in Bentonville, AR and moved to Joplin, MO two years later.
In a local newspaper article, OCC president Matt Proctor discussed the college’s founders and the school’s mission today.
“The how of what we do would intrigue them,” he says. “But to be honest, the what and why of our mission are largely unchanged. I think that would encourage them, that we remained focused on helping people prepare for Christian ministry.”
