The longest-running unity meeting between Christian churches and churches of Christ in the history of the American Restoration Movement came to a successful end September 4-6. About 1,100 people from 30 states and Canada attended Restoration Forum XXV, held on the campus of Ozark Christian College where the first Restoration Summit was held in 1984.

Twenty-one speakers, panelists, and devotional leaders developed the theme "In All Things, Love." They included Rick Atchley, Tom Burgess, Sue Ketcherside Burton, Rick Cherok, Chris DeWelt, Doug Foster, Ken Idleman, Tom Jones, Victor Knowles, Royce Money, Mark Moore, Gary Morrison, Boyce Mouton, Marvin Phillips, Dennis Randall, Jerry Rushford, Rubel Shelly, Sam Stone, Jeff Walling, and Calvin Warpula. All main sessions were webcast live on Ozark's GoRadio and Acappella Radio.

A total of 531 people signed "A Pact for Peace" based on Jesus' prayer for unity in John 17. The pact, which can be seen on POEM's website, included confession, repentance, and a three-fold resolve to leave divisions behind, love peace as God does, and live as peacemakers. Closing ceremonies included a responsive reading of "A Pact for Peace," kneeling in prayer, and the singing of the Doxology.

Twenty-two local churches and Christian colleges were presented with Certificates of Appreciation for hosting or co-hosting one of the 25 Restoration Forums. The names of more than 200 men and women who have spoken at a Restoration Forum were included in a special 28-page commemorative booklet. To order your own booklet (also including photos, the original 1984 program and a timeline) send $3 to POEM, PO Box 275, Joplin, MO 64802. You can order CDs or DVDs of the sessions from the Christian Audio Tapes website.
